Theres bluetooth on the ipt... unless you mean they dont enable any discovery features or anything.

When the 2G first came out, there was not bluetooth support listed, and no bluetooth options on the device. I don't think people even knew it had a bluetooth chip. One of the software updates enabled it, if I remember correctly it was 2.2.

Ahh that explains a lot, and I always thought there was a different ipod touch 3g that didnt have a bluetooth chip....
